Established in 2014 by the Waller Family in memory of Thomas Edward and Norma Waller. To be awarded to a student in Honours Music who, in the judgment of the School of the Arts, has attained notable academic standing and musical proficiency. Preference will be given to students studying brass instruments.

Requirements
- Applicant must be a minimum academic level 1.
- This award is specific to students in the Faculty of Arts.
- This award is specific to students in Honours Music.
- Applicant must be enrolled in an Honours, Honours Co-op, or Honours Integrated program.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate.
- This award is not second degree eligible.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- Applicant must have a minimum 8.0 Cumulative GPA.
- Applicant must have a minimum 24 cumulative graded units.
- Applicant must have a minimum of 3 sessional graded units
- Applicant must be eligible for in-course awards (Graduating students are not eligible).
