The CTAA Graduate Scholarship will be presented to a student who has been admitted into, or is currently enrolled in, a Canadian university program leading to a post graduate degree which contributes to advances in any facet of asphalt technology. Eligible fields of study include chemistry, chemical engineering, and construction or civil engineering. Other areas of study may be considered provided the applicant clearly notes the relevance of his/her curriculum towards asphalt technology.
CTAA is a group of more than 500 scientists, engineers, technicians, academics, students, contractors, consultants and suppliers involved in the technology and technology transfer of information regarding the design, research and performance of flexible pavements. Membership includes individuals from throughout Canada, the United States and overseas. Since the Association’s inception in 1955, an annual conference has been held. $2,000 for the CTAA Graduate Scholarship, will be made directly to the recipient upon selection by CTAA.
On being selected for a CTAA Scholarship, the recipient is expected to send a letter of acknowledgement to CTAA Head Office with a brief description of the studies the funds will help support.

In order to be considered for the annual CTAA Scholarships the following materials must be received by the CTAA office no later than the submission date shown below. Information received after this deadline will not be considered in the scholarship review process.
The letters must be uploaded with the electronic application as well as sent by the author of the letter directly to the CTAA office via email to [email protected] or via regular post to Canadian Technical Asphalt Association, 174 2417 Main Street, West Kelowna, BC, Canada V4T 2H8.
