The Mrudula Morzaria Scholarship Fund for Students with Disabilities at the University of Lethbridge was established in 2022 through a generous $100,000 endowed gift from the Ambika Foundation, which was matched by the University's Board of Governors
Founded in 1967 on traditional Blackfoot land, the University of Lethbridge is one of Canada’s top-ranked universities and leading research institutions. We are one of Alberta's four comprehensive academic and research universities. Our motto, Fiat Lux – let there be light – refers to the illumination that comes from research and learning.
This fund aims to provide financial support to students with disabilities, including those with chronic medical conditions, physical, developmental, and learning disabilities, as well as vision and hearing impairments and neurological conditions. The scholarship is designed to assist students who may face challenges in accessing funding to support their educational pursuits
$1,000 minimum will be awarded to the recipient of the award
