Established in 2008 by Dr. Edward Mills in honour of his father, Fergus Mills. To be awarded by the School of Graduate Studies, on the recommendation of the Assistant Dean for Health Research Methodology, to a student enrolled in a graduate program in Health Sciences who is committed to research which will help people in a developing country. Preference to be given to a student with an academic or research background related to Africa with further preference given to a student enrolled in the Health Research Methodology program.
