Established in 1972 by S. McNally and Sons Limited, in honour of Simon McNally. One or two scholarships to be awarded to students enrolled in Level 2 of a program in Civil Engineering. Awards are based on scholarship and evidence of practical engineering experience and background.

- Applicant must be academic level 2.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate.
- This award is specific to students enrolled in a Civil Engineering program.
- This award is not second degree specific.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- Applicant must have a minimum 18 graded units.
- Applicants must have a minimum 9.5 sessional average.
- Applicant must be eligible for in-course awards (Graduating students are not eligible).
