Two scholarships to be awarded to students in their penultimate level of an Honours program in Arts and Science, Health Sciences or Science who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. In addition, the students should demonstrate a lively interest in the humanities and in the human and social implications of scientific developments.

The purpose of the scholarship is to enable the winners to spend the summer before the final Fall/Winter session in travel and study outside Canada. Travel and Exchange Awards are not available to students in their graduating term.
The winner of McMaster University T. Russell Wilkins Memorial Scholarships will be awarded $7,500.
Requirements for McMaster University T. Russell Wilkins Memorial Scholarships Qualification
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups
OR
- Applicant must be an undergraduate.
- Applicant must be a minimum academic level 3.
- Applicant must be enrolled in an Honours Co-op or Honours program.
- This award is specific to students enrolled in the Arts and Science, Health Sciences or Science faculties.
- This award is not second degree eligible.
- Applicant must have read, understood and agreed to the Student Declaration.
- Applicant must be enrolled.
- Applicant must be a current student.
- Applicant cannot be enrolled in a Nursing Consortium Program (Mohawk/Conestoga).
- Applicant must plan to travel to earn academic credit, pursue experiential learning opportunities, complete research or projects, participate in relief efforts, volunteer or work.
- Applicant must be intending to travel in the summer term.
- Applicant must have a minimum 7.0 cumulative GPA.
- Applicant must have a minimum 18 graded units.
