Saint Dunstan’s University Patrick J. Mooney Memorial Award 2024

The Patrick J. Mooney Memorial Award was established in 1956 by Mrs. Patrick Mooney, in memory of her late husband. This award is intended for conscientious, hard-working students who display perseverance and a strong work ethic and who are attending a post secondary institution. Candidates must be active in parish life and exhibit exemplary acts of service within the church or community.

Aim and Benefits of Saint Dunstan’s University Patrick J. Mooney Memorial Award

The Patrick J. Mooney Memorial Award has a value of $500 and is administered by the Board of Governors of Saint Dunstan’s University.

Requirements for Saint Dunstan’s University Patrick J. Mooney Memorial Award Qualification

Applicants for this award must meet the following criteria:

• Candidates must be attending a post secondary institution.
• Candidates must demonstrate an active involvement in their church at either a parish or diocesan level.
• Candidates should provide evidence of community involvement.
• Candidates must be Roman Catholics.
• Successful candidates may not hold other grants, scholarships or bursaries totalling in excess of $5,000.00
