The Dennis Pattinson Memorial Scholarship Fund offers financial assistance to post-secondary students pursuing studies and research in the field of wildlife and fisheries conservation. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation.
The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation is a non-profit, non-government, charitable organization of over 32,000 members in 125 branches across Saskatchewan representing every walk of life. Per capita, we are the largest wildlife conservation organization of its kind in the world. Established in 1929, the SWF has become an acknowledged leader in the conservation field
Up to $2,500 per annum. All Scholarships cover a regular academic year, but is divided into two equal units (one usually available in September, the other in January).
Applicants must be full time students enrolled in studies at an accredited post-secondary institution. Students must be citizens of Canada or landed immigrants with the intent of working in Canada.
Preference will be given to research projects being conducted in Saskatchewan. Consideration will also be given to research projects undertaken in other accredited post-secondary institutions in Canada and elsewhere.Applications must be submitted by May 15th.
