The Nation Building Scholarships Series has been established by the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) in recognition of the important role to be played by engineers in the building of our nation given the technical challenges created by the geographical extent of the country, its low population density and its northern climate. This scholarship series is sponsored by the CAE, through the generous support from the CAE Fellows and the CAE Board.
The Canadian Academy of Engineering comprises over 800 Fellows who have made outstanding contributions to engineering in Canada and around the world. They have demonstrated their dedication to the application of science and engineering principles to advance social, environmental, economic and technical solutions. One $2,000 grant will be awarded in 2024.
Only students who are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents of Canada and currently enrolled in an engineering degree program that is accredited by the CEAB or, in the case of new programs is seeking CEAB accreditation. CAEB accredits undergraduate engineering programs.
The recipient will be notified by the end of April 2024. Their name will be posted on www.cae-acg.ca.
