Peter Higdon retired as Collections Curator of Toronto Metropolitan Image Centre (RIC) in 2014. Established in his honour, the Peter Higdon Graduate Award recognizes originality and scope of academic work during the first year, and supports research and project work during the second year of the program of Masters in Film and Photography Preservation and Collections Management program, in the Yeates School of Graduate Studies.
