To provide financial assistance and to recognize the academic achievement of a full-time student entering their second, third, or fourth year, and enrolled in the School of Occupational and Public Health and studying matters of workplace safety and insurance in any of the three Occupational Health and Safety Streams.

The Toronto Metropolitan University Comstock Award 2024 winner will be awarded $6,206.74
Requirements for Toronto Metropolitan University Comstock Award Qualification
Applicants must meet all of the qualifications in at least one of the following groups
OR
- Applicant must be enrolled in the School of Occupational and Public Health 4 year OHS program, or fast-track OHS program.
- Applicant must have clear academic standing.
- Applicant must be enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of the 4 year OHS program, or 2nd year of the 2 year fast-track OHS program.
- Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person.
- Applicant must be a resident of Ontario.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate student.
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need as determined by Toronto Metropolitan University.
- Applicant must be enrolled full-time.
- Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Applicant must be registered with Academic Accommodation Support.
- Applicant must be enrolled in the School of Occupational and Public Health 4 year OHS program, or fast-track OHS program.
- Applicant must have clear academic standing.
- Applicant must be enrolled in 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of the 4 year OHS program, or 2nd year of the 2 year fast-track OHS program.
- Applicant must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Person.
- Applicant must be a resident of Ontario.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate student.

- Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Applicant must have an approved accommodation for a reduced course load.
