Transportation planners, providers, funders and users will face very significant challenges in this century. Canada will need its best and brightest to meet these challenges and the Arcadis scholarship will help to attract and prepare such people for a career in the transportation industry.
About Transportation Association of Canada (TAC)
The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Foundation, a registered charity, was established by the Transportation Association of Canada in 2003 to address the issue of shortages in the number of skilled people available for the planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of Canada’s transportation infrastructure.

The successful candidate will receive $6000
Requirements for Transportation Association of Canada Arcadis Scholarship Qualification
All applicants:
- Must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Must be enrolled at a post-secondary institution (university or college) in an academic program related to, and hope to pursue a career in, the planning, design, construction, operations, maintenance and program management of road and highway infrastructure and urban transportation. This includes, but isn't limited to, civil and transportation engineering.
- May only be awarded one (1) TAC Foundation scholarship at each stage of their education (community college, university undergraduate, graduate).
- May apply for and receive scholarships from other sources.
College/CEGEP student and university undergraduate applicants:
- Must be enrolled in at least two semesters of full-time studies from September 2024 through August 2025, AND graduate by September 2025.
- Note: Co-op semesters administered through post secondary institutions may be used towards this requirement
University graduate student applicants:
- Must be admissible to or enrolled in a full-time transportation-related graduate (masters or doctorate) program in a transportation-related discipline.
- Must complete at least two semesters of full-time studies from September 2024 through August 2025.
