The University of Alberta Alastair R and Irma MacLeod Scholarship is to be awarded annually to students with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of studies in Political Science
The University of Alberta is a public research university located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1908 by Alexander Cameron Rutherford, the first premier of Alberta, and Henry Marshall Tory, its first president. Its enabling legislation is the Post-secondary Learning Act.
The financial value for this scholarship is not stipulated, and will be made know to the recipient of the scholarship
Recipients will be chosen on the basis of academic standing and a demonstrated interest in socialist thought. Preference will be given to students in financial need.
