Awarded annually to an Alberta high school graduate entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta
The University of Alberta is a public research university located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It was founded in 1908 by Alexander Cameron Rutherford, the first premier of Alberta, and Henry Marshall Tory, its first president. Its enabling legislation is the Post-secondary Learning Act.
The amount of the scholarship will be made known to the selected candidate
Recipients will be chosen on the basis of exceptional leadership qualities and social conscience as demonstrated by involvement in community service and/or charitable organizations as well as Admission average. Preference is given students with indicated financial need.
