Scholarships are available for female-identifying students on the Vancouver campus enrolled in part-time studies for both the previous and upcoming Winter Sessions. Winter Session is from September to April.

Aim and Benefits of University of British Columbia National Council of Jewish Women, Vancouver Section Bessie Diamond Scholarship

A $500 scholarship has been endowed by the National Council of Jewish Women of Vancouver for a mature woman student enrolled part-time in a program leading to a degree in the humanities and sciences, up to and including the Master's level.

Requirements for University of British Columbia National Council of Jewish Women, Vancouver Section Bessie Diamond Scholarship Qualification

1. You must be registered in 23 credits or less in the upcoming Winter Session.
2. You must have been studying part-time during the past academic year.

1. Read through the award descriptions to view eligibility criteria.
2. If you were not a UBC student in the 2023/24 Winter Session, you will be required to provide a copy of your official transcript for the 2023/24 academic year. The transcript can be uploaded with your application.
3. You will also need to prepare a letter detailing your educational goals, objectives, and financial need.
