Aim and Benefits of University of Laval Actuarial Science Chair Scholarship
1 scholarship of $10,000 (Florent Toureille Doctoral Attraction Scholarship; annual scholarship of $10,000 renewable for 3 years if the renewal criteria are met)
Requirements for University of Laval Actuarial Science Chair Scholarship Qualification
- Have Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or a valid study permit.
- Have submitted an application for admission to a 3rd cycle program in actuarial science at Université Laval, for the fall 2024 session .
- Be registered full-time (12 credits or more), or be " deemed full-time " at the time the scholarship is awarded
Renewal criteria:
- Preparatory schooling should be done as a priority if necessary;
- With regard to the Florent Toureille doctoral attraction scholarship, the cumulative average must be 3 or more, and the predoctoral exams must be passed during the 2nd year .
Selection criteria
- Excellence of academic record;
- Candidate's aptitude for research and innovation.

- a detailed CV describing your relevant experiences and achievements (projects carried out as part of courses or para-academic work, research or development work, work experience, etc.);

- If you have the status of " deemed full-time " as a student parent, you will need to upload, in the appropriate section of the form, the certificate from the Registrar's Office obtained for this purpose. Please note that a delay of 7 working days is to be expected to obtain this document.
