The objective of this scholarship for admission to the doctoral program in law is to recruit the best candidates in the study of the legal aspects associated with smart contracts and blockchain in order to support the Quebec notariat in its digital transformation exercise.

Requirements
- Be newly admitted in the fall of 2024 to the program in question
- Be enrolled full-time (12 credits) in the fall of 2024 in the program in question
- Pursue a PhD in law, more specifically in the field of smart contract and blockchain law
- Have an excellent academic record at the graduate or Master's level if the person is a foreign candidate
- Demonstrate a strong interest or relevant experience associated with the Chair's research sphere
- Receive support from your supervisor
- Be supervised by one of the Chair's research members

The application must include:
- A description of the research project of no more than two pages, clearly demonstrating the links with the Chair's research axes
- List of funding sources considered for doctoral studies (current year)
- A letter of support from the master's research supervisor, sent separately and directly by the person concerned to the email address mentioned above
- The final transcript of the master's or master's degree, if the person comes from outside Quebec
- An up-to-date curriculum vitae
Note: Exceptionally, the jury reserves the right not to award a scholarship if the applications received do not meet the criteria of eligibility or excellence.
Complete applications must be submitted by Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the latest.
Any application that is incomplete or received after the deadline will be rejected.
