Requirements for University of Laval Doctoral Recruitment Scholarship from the HIV/AIDS Research Fund Qualification
Student candidate:
- Be admitted or have submitted an application for admission for the first time in winter 2024, summer 2024 or fall 2024 in a third-cycle program at the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval, with the obtaining of a master's degree or the equivalent;
- The research project must focus on HIV/AIDS;
- Not to benefit from any nominative scholarship of more than $15,000. However, the student agrees to apply for scholarships from other organizations;
- Scholarships are not transferable to another program, faculty, university or candidate.
Evaluation criteria
Academic record:
- Excellence of the academic record considering the diploma(s) serving as the basis for admission to the doctorate (minimum average of 3.00/4.33);
- Scholarships, prizes and awards.
Skills and experiences:
- Other research projects, publications, conferences and presentations.
Research project
- Clarity and conciseness of the project description, hypothesis and objectives;
- Method, analysis;
- Originality and feasibility;
- Contribution to the advancement of knowledge.
