1 scholarship of $20,000 (Scholarship paid in two equal installments, at the beginning of each session, after verification of full-time registration. This verification takes place after the deadline for course withdrawal with reimbursement.)

Requirements for University of Laval François et Rachel Routhier Doctoral Scholarship - Philosophy Qualification
- Have submitted, before March 31 of the current year, a complete admission file for the doctorate in philosophy for the upcoming fall session.
Or
- Already be registered for a doctorate in philosophy at Université Laval and be registered in the first or second year of the doctoral program.
And
- Be registered full-time (or be deemed full-time according to Student Financial Aid ) at Université Laval in an eligible program during the year the scholarship is awarded.
Interview date, Process and Venue for University of Laval François et Rachel Routhier Doctoral Scholarship - Philosophy
The excellence of the file and the relevance of the research project and its link with the objectives targeted by this scholarship are the determining criteria for obtaining the scholarship.
The Selection Committee reviews the files and recommends the most deserving. The review of the files will be done according to the following criteria:
- All previous achievements attested by the CV and in particular previous academic results, their excellence and their progression.
- The candidate's progress as assessed by the candidate's confidential assessment of previous or current research and a confidential recommendation from another referee with good knowledge of the candidate.
