This program aims to recruit new candidates to the Faculty of Medicine's graduate programs and to help professor-researchers welcome more students in order to improve the performance of their laboratory. Indigenous students who are enrolled in a graduate program at the Faculty of Medicine are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements
- Be admitted or have submitted an application for admission for the first time in the winter of 2024, summer 2024 or fall 2024 in a graduate program of the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval, with the completion of a master's degree or equivalent;
- Please note that this competition includes the faculty selection for the Citizen of the World Doctoral Scholarships - Excellence Component;
- Not to receive any named scholarship of more than $15,000. However, the student undertakes to apply for scholarships from other organizations;
- Scholarships are not transferable to another program, faculty, university or applicant.

Application Documents
You must fill out the online form.
Make sure you have the following documents:
- Cover letter (1 page maximum);
- CV of the candidate-student (2 pages maximum);
- Transcripts (Capsule accepted);
- Master's degrees or equivalent (if completed);
- Short summary of the research project (Half a page maximum);
- The research supervisor will have to submit a letter of commitment specifying the financial support. The professor undertakes to supervise the scholarship holder's work, to provide him with a minimum of $17,500 in funding for the master's degree and $21,000 for the doctoral program, and to provide him with the material means to carry out his research project.
The absence of one of these documents will result in the rejection of the scholarship application.
