The William Elichen Scholarship at the University of Lethbridge is a merit-based undergraduate award established by Mr. William (Bill) Elichen. It recognizes students who have demonstrated academic achievement and have a clear intent to pursue a medical career.?

$3,000 minimum will be awarded to the recipient of the scholarship
Students continuing in any undergraduate degree program who have completed at least 19 courses at the UofL. Preference to students who have a demonstrated interest in Slavic culture. Must have demonstrated academic achievement (minimum 3.50 fall/spring GPA) and intent to pursue a medical career. Payable upon confirmation of full-time enrolment in classes at the UofL in the Fall and Spring semesters immediately following the granting of the award.
