University of Saskatchewa Garry H. Beatty Scholarship 2024

The Garry H. Beatty Scholarship Fund was established through a donation provided by friends and colleagues in memory of Garry H. Beatty to assist students who are pursuing a Masters degree program in Public Administration at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina or the University of Saskatchewan.

Aim and Benefits of University of Saskatchewa Garry H. Beatty Scholarship

One award of $1,600 will be presented annually to a JSGS student from wither of the University of Regina or University of Saskatchewan Campus.


Requirements for University of Saskatchewa Garry H. Beatty Scholarship Qualification

Students must meet the following criteria to apply:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen
  • Enrolled in the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program
  • Registered and remains registered in a minimum of 6 credit hours in the semester the scholarship is presented
  • Has a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 80%

September 30, 2024


How to Apply

USask students: Students must email [email protected] stating the name of the scholarship they are applying to in the email subject line and attaching the following documents:

  1. Word document (250 words maximum) that ‘Describes your most significant contribution’ (demonstrate the connection as to why this is your significant contribution regarding this application);
  2. Word document (500 words maximum) that outlines your study proposal description (MPA).
