The University of Saskatchewan Alphonsine Lafond-Colette Bourgenje Women in Innovation Scholarship 2025 is open for application to female Indigenous graduate students enrolled in any graduate program in the College of Kinesiology (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) or the Master of Physical Therapy (M.P.T.) program. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Kinesiology.

The Alphonsine Lafond-Colette Bourgenje Women in Innovation Scholarship winner will be awarded the sum of $1,500
This competition is open to female Indigenous graduate students enrolled in any graduate program in the College of Kinesiology (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) or the Master of Physical Therapy (M.P.T.) program. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Kinesiology.
To be eligible, applicants must have either verified their Indigenous Membership with the Office of the Vice-Provost Indigenous Engagement, as per the university’s deybwewin | taapwaywin | tapwewin policy, or have started the process at the time of application.
The call for applications for this award is distributed annually in the Winter term.
Winter 2025 deadline - Monday, January 13, 2025 at 4:30pm CST.
