University of Saskatchewan Dr. Rui Feng Graduate Studies Award 2024-2025

Dr. Rui Feng, a PhD graduate in Geology of the University of Saskatchewan, has established a scholarship fund for student in the Geological Sciences. Open to graduate students in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Preference will be given to students with a research focus on natural resources.

Approx. $15,000 (The specific annual amount will be determined by the Selection Committee, based on the financial resources available.)


Requirements for University of Saskatchewan Dr. Rui Feng Graduate Studies Award Qualification

  • Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum 80% GPA) and published work.
  • A minimum of two publications in a peer reviewed academic journal, magazine, collection or monograph is required.

  • a letter of recommendation from an individual familiar with your academic work; preferably, the letter should be written by your supervisor
  • photocopies of your official transcripts from the last degree you complete. If your degree was from the University of Saskatchewan, you can provide unofficial transcripts.
