$1,000 will be awarded to the winner of the award
Requirements for University of Saskatchewan Gem & Mineral Federation of Canada Scholarship Qualification
- The applicant must be a full-time, fully-qualified graduate student enrolled in a Master's (thesis) or PhD program in the field of Earth Sciences
- The applicant’s research must align with the aims and objectives of the Gem & Mineral Federation of Canada (promote the earth sciences; protect collecting sites; educate collectors; and foster good will, friendship, and rapport among all member groups)
- The applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 75% in the last two years of completed study
