The University of Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor's Indigenous Scholarship 2025 is open for application to applicants who are pursuing graduate or post-graduate studies in any field at the University of Saskatchewan.
The University of Saskatchewan (U of S, or USask) is a Canadian public research university, founded on March 19, 1907, and located on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor's Indigenous Scholarship is a $20,000 scholarship awarded annually based on academic excellence to one student, or split between deserving candidates, who are pursuing graduate or post-graduate studies in any field at the University of Saskatchewan or University of Regina.
As outlined in the CGPS policy on Centrally Administered Funding, a student may not hold two major internal institutional scholarships at the same time, or a major institutional scholarship and a major external scholarship. A major scholarship is defined as equal to or more than $17,500 per year. Top-up awards and honorary scholarships at a reduced value may be combined with major scholarships. It is your responsibility to inform the College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies of any such funding that you are receiving.
