The scholarship will be awarded to a Canadian (or permanent resident) student who has been admitted to and will be completing, during the time of the initial award, the first year of a graduate program of study on a full-time basis in the fields of Agriculture, Engineering or the Natural Sciences.

Approximately $16,000 paid bi-monthly for one year (The specific annual amount will be determined by the Selection Committee, based on the financial resources available.)
The award will be based primarily on outstanding academic performance and secondarily on evidence of financial need. The career goals of the individual will be taken into consideration.
